If you are interested in holding a family or company picnic, Tilden Rodgers Sports Complex (located at 825 North Airport Road) offers many opportunities for your family or business. Rodgers Complex has several baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, 1 mile walking track, two pavilions and an eight acre fishing pond. The pond is stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Pavilions can be rented for $25.00 each, per day. Each pavilion is located next to the eight acre pond and has group cooking grills, play area, volleyball area, two horseshoe pits and plenty of parking.

We have several parks located throughout West Memphis that can also be used for activities including:

Franklin Park & Whittaker Field, Corner of 25th & S.L. Henry

Grimsley Park, Balfour Road West of Avalon 

Hicks Parks, Corner of Avalon & Oliver

Hightower Parks, Corner of 14th & Polk

Horton Park, Corner of Scottwood & McAuley

Matthews, Corner of Vanderbilt & Rice

Rowe Park,  N. 11th Street

Tenth Street Park, Corner of Tenth & Polk

Worthington Park, Corner of Worthington & Missouri.

During the summer, after school is out, the Parks and Recreation and the Memphis YMCA offer a Summer Day Camp, better known as Y-Camp, for children from the ages of 6-12 years. It begins in June and runs through the middle of August. The camps are at Hightower Park and at Tilden Rodgers Sports Complex. The L.R. Jackson Girls Club provides a hot lunch at no cost for the children every day at noon.
