West Memphis Public School District
The West Memphis Public School District is the largest educational system in
the entire Arkansas Delta. There are eight elementary schools, three junior
highs and one high school. These schools have a combined enrollment of more
than 6,000 students. The system is fully accredited by the North Central
Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. West Memphis Public Schools
have an “A” rating as assigned by the Arkansas Department of Education.

St. Michael’s School is an elementary school with junior kindergarten through
sixth grade. The school is operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Little

Southern Institute of Cosmetology
The Southern Institute of Cosmetology is licensed by the Arkansas Board of
Cosmetology. It prepares students for the State Licensing examination.
